  • The first medicinal, chemical free, bathhouse in Australia.

Unlike most other bathing spa’s in Australia, The Byron Bathhouse is not just for entertainment, it is a space where true healing can happen.

We call it regenerative luxury because The Byron Bathhouse has been designed in consultation with Australia’s leader in Building Biology, and the construction adheres to chemical free, low-toxin principles. The hydrothermal spa is double filtered, contains no chlorine and the water is changed regularly. Our lighting is blue light blocking and we have an open air design providing natural sunlight and fresh air.

We encourage proper use of the spa and other therapies by supplying Doctor & Naturopath approved bathing protocols. All decisions are curated by Doctors, Naturopaths and Psychologists to meet medicinal levels of care.

We hope you get to plunge into the healing waters at least once, but we recommend you invest in your health with regular Byron Bathhouse use.

After one experience we are sure you will understand the difference.

  • Our 90-minute Bathhouse sessions include a pre-bathing cleansing scrub made in-house by our Naturopaths, access to our 100% chlorine free magnesium hydrotherapy pool (38 degrees), 3 infrared saunas set at different temperatures, 2 cold plunge pools set at different temperatures, two full-body red light therapy panels, double filtered showers and drinking water, bath towel, herbal tea and a replenishment electrolyte drink.

  • To ensure that all guests enjoy our tranquil surroundings we ask for noise levels to be kept to a minimum - The Byron Bathhouse is a space for peace, calm, healing, and relaxation.

Socialisation is sacred and viewed as an integral part of the Byron experience however this is not a party zone.

To maintain the highest levels of detoxification and hygiene ensure you shower between each therapy, and use the pre-bathing scrub before entry into any of the facilities (pools, showers, saunas).

Long hair should be tied up, do not wear makeup or other skin products (creams, moisturisers, sunscreens etc.) that may dissolve in the pools. Sit on a towel when in the saunas.

To ensure a relaxing and restorative experience for all guests, The Byron Bathhouse is mostly a phone free zone. Please avoid use of phones, cameras or other mobile devices in the bathing area.
